That’s pretty fresh. I’d leave them alone.

Disassembly and prep for the skinz is done. I found just a few cracks. With all the horror stories out on the web I was pretty relieved with what I found.

What is the preferred undercoating/paint product to protect all this?

Redish MS uses POR-15, seam sealer and then paint to match the e-coat. From what I gather, SEM Olive Green is an ok match to the original color.

Another thing you can replace is the fuel tank fill hose, since you're ready dropping it anyways. Trying to remember what else I did when I did the Vince Skins and bar. Driveshaft guibo, shifter bushings (short shift kit if you want), half shafts...the list and price keeps going up...you don't always have the access to do maintenance like you can when the rear diff and subframe are removed. I would look at everything that is impossible or super difficult with those in place and take the time and money to get it done now. Just my thoughts.
