I think you’re probably right about this. But like most people with a platform he said too much. He probably should have left any mention of the E46M out of the video altogether if he was making an E36 US v Euro point only.

That + “the one to have” let his comments bleed a bit more than they perhaps should have.

The troll statement was directed at thinking the e36 is better looking than the best looking bmw of all time.

E36 interiors fall to pieces,E46 bubble, crack and peel (at least the painted ones). Both suck 15-25 years later and require refresh.

E36 feel lighter (because they are), but the engine doesn't have the fizziness of the s54. Cable throttle helps overcome that, but not completely. The s54 is a fantastic motor that takes some care to keep going.

I like Cammisa as well, but I think he saw an opportunity to troll the anti-E36 hate brigade and overdid it. I don't think anyone who's driven every M3 would consider the E36 the best, but that doesn't mean it's not a great car.

Plus how much better it sounds in the driving part of the video.

Funny joke, but no. Have fun with the open differential in the ZHP.

Simple “fix” but more importantly, the 46 zhp is the better daily driver. Facts.

Why does this look like a Benz body with a M engine in it?

                            EDIT: My bad I failed. It's a W124 not a 190E lmao

Better daily driver sure, but not a better car. I have a sport package E46 sedan with refreshed suspension including Lemforder ZHP control arms and Z4M FCABs and it doesn’t hold a candle to an E36 M3.

Well, it was originally supposed to be a rally car (which explains the handles)... but Audi dominated that, and DTM changed the whole game... you might find this interesting (despite the title) if you haven't seen it already ... https://www.goodwood.com/grr/columni...an-the-e30-m3/

The AMG power pack cars were pretty good to. I've never seen one in real life (or an EVO II for that matter).
