Does not need to be stored at the minimum setting, and the adjustments are very fast and easy because there is no spring tension.
Downside, as you mentioned, is it is accurate to 4%, not the 2 or 3% seen on typical micrometer torque wrenches. So if I'm doing engine work, I'd use something else.
