    Thought not important, the fourth digit 1 in 1501 depicts 1/4" drive, the 2 in 1002 is 3/8" and the 3 is 1/2" The first three digits are the max torque range 150 in lb, 100 ft lb, 250 ft lb 👺

      Yep, my go-to torque wrench for that type of work is my PI split beam.
      Does not need to be stored at the minimum setting, and the adjustments are very fast and easy because there is no spring tension.
      Downside, as you mentioned, is it is accurate to 4%, not the 2 or 3% seen on typical micrometer torque wrenches. So if I'm doing engine work, I'd use something else.
