Coils: Delphi or Bosch? Other?

    If coil won’t pull out by hand I just use a screw driver shaft thru the hole in the locking clip to pull it out.

    Personally I prefer no dialectic grease but if you do put only a very thin coat inside the boot tip avoiding getting any on the end of the spark plug. Also reminder no anti seize on the plug threads!

    These are the best coils for E46 cars. Unfortunately the M3 can't use them. They were used on early cars.

    Found the Jelly Bean Coils on mine, Wish i payed more attention the last 5 times i had them out comp testing and doing the head gasket


    Found a old 260 coil from 2007 with E46 on it (must of been from a junk yard )
    Some Bosch 08s
    A Bosch 2015
    A Bosch 2019


    Seeing this is some serious motivation to swap them out

    I found NOS here in Australia if anyone still wants to run ELDOR from a BMW box


    Is the ELDOR part number still the same ? or have they changed ?
