Car is coming out of mechanical later this week. I have every piece to validate an OEM style installation for the bumper and fenders.

Sweet! Just got up close and personal with a tire wall yesterday, so I put myself on the waiting list lol.

          Nearly there.

Mechanical is 99% complete: we're at tuning for the CSL airbox.

We fitted the aluminum carrier for final CSL bumper fitment. We removed the seized and threaded fender bolts as well and replaced with new to the widened fender fitment.

Welcome to restoring an E46 and documenting the install of OEM 1:1 CSL bumper.

The alternative is offering an unproven, unfitted product and charging you 3K USD for it - not my style.

Epoustouflant- How will you mate the wider fenders to your bumper….is there an extra peace to mold on to the front.

No, the fender isn't any wider at the bumper. It is wider at the top. It retains the OE liners - but that is to be tested. We get lots of rain and sand from winter use here - proper protection matters for my use.

Interesting, I thought there would be an aesthetically noticeable width difference but I guess it would just be the vents.

I'm doing the CSL bumper and fender final test fitment this weekend, it's out of the shop kicking, screaming and squeaking.

Once this is done, plan for 8-12 weeks for production and delivery. I will most likely operate in pre-order batches of 5-10 sets of fenders + 5-10 bumpers.

These will realistically be Winter projects.

Ahh yes, "winter." I have read about this concept in books.

But thank you for the update, looking forward to hopefully getting a set soon.

                                😂

The CSL bumper is on after figuring out instructions myself. The corner brackets have enough adjustments to get a tight fit - and no sag to report in the center as of now.

This has brand new snorkel ducting, snorkel grill, bumper gasket and grill. It's unclear where the horn bracket is going still, and I'm waiting on BreyKrause to deliver the E36 reservoir bracket.

I'm compiling notes this week to do a detailed journal entry.

The fenders are next this week once I get the shop to remove the threaded bolts on the top of the fenders. I also slapped on the diffuser and the fitment is great.
