I'd get these wheels. Really do like them for the price + weight + aesthetic + BW's "we don't give a crap if they are another rep" attitude.

I like these. If they came in 8.5/9.5 widths I’d be all over them. The current 9.5/10 options are a bit aggressive for what I want.

Would love to know if the 18x9.5 +35 clears 996 brakes.

I would hope so based on their statement that it was designed for extra spoke clearance. My et32 wheels just cleared, so et35 would be very very tight on wheels like the sportlines that weren't designed for extra clearance.

That's the size I'd be ordering for front, so I will be able to answer that question, though it will take longer than an email/phone call to them. I always have 3mm, 5mm & 10mm spacers on hand just in case. I also plan on using 5mm maybe even 10mm spacers anyway to get closer to the common et22 for a 9.5".

These honestly look so good, I might have to buy a set as well! 😁

                Interesting,

been looking for a new set to replace the aftermarket ones my car came with. Was thinking bmw ZCP or ARC EC-7, but these are in stock and not too pricey.

I wonder if these fit the F80 brake retrofit?

Ya I'm shying away from them now. I'm worried that the finish isn't premium enough. I think they look a little too aftermarket, and I confirmed that the other sizes and offsets won't be available for a while yet.

This. That spoke design is off (non-oe look) and is exactly as you put it, too aftermarket.

I’m sure most see ARC8’s as a “modified wheel” but in my eyes, they’re a replacement for OE wheels. With the bmw center cap in place they’re one of the easiest in the eyes wheels you can have on these cars. To 99% of the public they’re factory wheels.

Apex wheel finish for hyper silver isn’t great either. I’ve had mine for years so perhaps the finish is better now. Two of four are an 8 out of 10 and the other two are a 7 out of 10.

The newness has worn off on me too. These might get impulse buyers. I think the spoke design looks good, but I’m not a fan of the lip, and after zooming in on the photos on my PC, the finish doesn’t looks great.

The big center indent on the ARC-8s make me shy away from them. They are perfect on an E36, but not smooth enough for newer cars IMO.
