Beautiful color and IMO, for a car not doing daily work, go for it. Otherwise, IMO, that special color can create tricky complications. My wife and I ordered a new X5 this past summer and we almost went for an Individual color but for various reasons (one was cost, but it wasn't the top deciding factor), decided against it. One thing that I was stuck on was paint availability/pre-painted parts availability. A quick check on my local dealers' parts site, and I couldn't even get a touch up paint set for the color we were considering. That, and I also thought, future bodywork might be a tricky thing. If I'm wrong, I'd love some correction from some people experienced with these special colors.Last edited by PSUEng; 11-09-2025, 04:21 PM.

My X3M is an individual British Racing Green and IND had no trouble providing a painted wing and reflectors.
Also, I foolishly did not PPF this car, so I have a couple rock chips on the front bumper... l plan to have the front bumper resprayed next year and I'll PPF it then. But, I also know a good bodyshop. They assured me they can match the paint no problem.
