    It's not hate, while the car as a collector is nice and will continue to accumulate value, you can make you own slick top and get an LCI car with proper mk60. I think that's where everyone is coming from, or maybe not.

      If you pay +80k for an E46 M3, you will never drive it hard enough to notice the difference between MK20 and MK60...

        The most recent seller paid, with BAT fees, $96,600. He then sold it for $84,500. Seller lost $12,100 and didn't even drive it. Nice.

          Coincidentally, $12,100 is exactly what I paid for my vert that I've put 60k miles on and counting and I'm pretty sure it's gained value

            Thing is, you have to sit inside the car. Which is the part on that particular car that sucks extra hard. E46 grey interior is like, a 3D model that isn't finished. It's like, untoasted wonder bread when you could have had a beautiful baguette. Its like, waking up and then remembering you're in Seattle.

                Nothing says "miserable M3" like parking it outside, in Arizona, next to a Chrysler whatever that is.

                      Maybe not hard enough but MK60 is worth it for the ability to get a ZHP/ZCP rack and quicker steering ratio alone, IMO. Also, I'd have no issue driving an 80K E46 M3 very spiritedly with DSC in M-track mode which again, requires MK60.

                      But a grey interior? Barf....

                          Slowly but surely coming together at EAG. Once Vorsteiner bits painted and installed, full ppf, tint and windshield protection next.

                              Or just vacuuming the car, heck at least shake the mats. I saw a Subaru on C&B with their old clutch tossed in the trunk. I'm certainly not bidding if there is a little tree hanging from the mirror.
