I bought a 2022 Subaru Outback brand new for my wife cause that's what she wanted. Right in that same ballpark money wise (little less). The worst car I've ever owned. That head unit is unbelievably bad and the CVT, good god. Dumped that thing for a new VW Tiguan R Line Black. At least that thing shifts properly and doesn't ride like a meandering elephant.

BMW doesn't make anything new that's comparable to that E91. The spec is doing most of the heavy lifting there though. Manual and RWD is uncommon. Throw in M Sport and a desirable color combo and it's a low-mileage example? I'm not an expert but that was one thing I liked about the wagon just above, the N52.
