Also, check post #11 of this thread. You don't need to transfer the rear trailing arm pockets. But you would need a jig to reinstall the "new" panel and make sure it's perfectly align. I can sell my jig but shipping to Austalia would be crazy expensive!

The jig would also help with the install cause you can hold it on the car bolted in the RTA pockets and than put jack stand under the jig and use the weight of the car to put pressure so the RACP has no gap with chassis while welding
Legend, Thanks GT, I will grab both

How much to post the Jig, I am curious, I am in South Australia 5046

    Thanks

          Standard DHL

Which E46 model did you make your Jig from ? or do i have to make a jig from an M3 ?

only asking cause I checked the part numbers and they are different. At a guess, that it is just bushing related

I made my jig with an E46 non-M rear subframe and used one of my E46 M3 to mount/weld the jig together.

But you can use your E46 Coupe donor car to make and weld a jig. Use the E46 non-M subframe and weld tubes or angles bars that won't deflect and use that E46 non-M rear trailing arm brackets.

Once that jig made, it will be easier to install/weld the "new RACP" to your M3 and you won't have to transfer the RTAB pockets from non-M to M3.

The non-M subframe has the same bushings location to bolt to RACP as the M3 subframe, only the diff bushings/mounts are different. So better sacrifice a non-M subframe to mke a jig
