I had my e46 wheels refinished by Prince along with a second pair of rears so they would all match. Even when new, they have slight variations if they are not from the same batch.

Prince did a very good job. Its not exact, but close enough that you will not be able to tell unless you have a factory finished one next to it.

Pretty sure that's just the way the sun was-- but I never use any tire dressing. Whatever was on it was probably by Prince, when they remounted the tires.
