When I checked it said available. I ordered it and there was no indication that it was back ordered. They may have gotten a few instock and are now out of stock. I can let you know if the status changes though, mine said it would deliver Thursday next week.

I think the question posed on another thread was if it was still a Modine radiator which we all came to trust.

Found a small puddle of coolant under the car this weekend. Opened the hood and found this: Guessing this is a sign the water pump is leaking onto a pulley or belt. With 95k and 19 years on the clock I am going to go ahead and refresh the entire system. Are any of the all metal radiators worth considering over OEM? Any

To be honest idk how part # replaces part # works. It could mean a new manufacturer no?

528 in stock at BMW Germany as of now, so these should last for a while again.

I ordered a radiator from the link above. It arrived today in a box with an NRF.eu sticker on it and the end tanks bear NRF logos.

Some quick research (see: https://www.nrf.eu/wp-content/upload...E-OCT-2017.pdf) suggests that NRF is/was a Modine subsidiary. Indeed, the linked PDF reads, "In 1989, NRF became a subsidiary of the American Modine Manufacturing Company. NRF became Modine’s head office for aftermarket products in Europe."

In an effort to do-it-once-and-do-it-right, can those in the know confirm that what I received was the correct OEM radiator rather than a knockoff brand or other non-OEM radiator?

I did similar research to figure out how to buy the Modine in Europe, ended up figuring out the NRF is what it is sold as. Uses the same part number too. I have bought an NRF yesterday, will see how it holds up.

When I researched and bought my Modine rad in like 2017, I never came across NRF. And mine had a Modine sticker on it.

NRF could very well be a Modine owned company now, but I don't think that means that the physical rad itself is the same one that modine made for BMW.

Hopefully the NRF is just fine, but I'd personally only buy Modine or Genuine BMW.

Here's a fairly priced OE unit:
