People also like lsb and phoenix yellow now so there's that.
The fact is, the exhaust note on this car no matter the exhaust is bad.

That being said, I think personal preference is the key here.

Some people like the stock exhaust so there's that.

    I'm still saying engine swap.

Listen to it from outside the car lol

I have the full SSV1 setup with the oversized sections too. Just with those mods and an HTE tune, it sounds like a Honda.

The SS Race does not help with that IMHO.

Yes, but you can still hear it...best of both worlds really as you get some induction noise and exhaust!

lol 23 years later and yall still not over vomit yellow and smur blue? For every 1 of you that cries about LSB/PY, there are 5 people in real life that appreciate it and these colors will continue to gain popularity from here on.

The SS Race sounds like a Honda.

The El Diablo loses power (I had one for like 3 months and Ben @RE told me to get something else because I'm cammed lol)

If you want an exhaust on this car that sounds good, swap the engine.

If you can't afford that, Dixis.

If you can't afford that, stock exhaust.

Funny people coveting dixis now, when it first came out the early adopters all abandoned them after the hype wore off. There isn't a ti exhaust produced in the world that sounds remotely good on e46 m3.

That El Diablo sounds like a must have portion of the set up. This one sounds really good to me.

This video is why I got an El diablo years ago and still have it but mine sounds nothing like this. With stock US headers or with SGT headers, with or without resonated section 1. I don't know why but completely different sound
