    If the MC is new there is no reason not to push the pedal to the floor. If the MC has alot of miles in it and the brake fluid change interval is not known the MC could have developed rust and corrosion in the unused part of the bore and damage the seal at full pedal travel.

    So the same reason as for brakes.

    But doesn't the clutch go all the way to the floor/clutch stop every time you use it?

      Apologies. I thought this was referencing brake pedal. I see no reason why you would limit travel for clutch pedal.

        Yeah I don't see why this would be an issue for the clutch. Unless you remove the clutch stop before bleeding or something.

          Just a quick update. Was not able to get to the bleed portion of the maintenance as one of the new brake lines has bad threads so I had to pause the work after a very frustrating afternoon. Tried everything to get the new line threaded into the caliper including removing the caliper from the car with no joy.

          Did finish the FCAB replacement though.

          Hopefully can get this completed during the week to get her back on the road for the weekend.
