      I do not believe that is the case, to my knowledge it's either CSL cams, or what I've called "US cams", but a more accurate description would be "non-CSL" cams.


      I would check your offsets, see if they are what mine turned out to be (CSL), if they are wrong changing them is easy. If you can view your offsets your 80% the way there to changing them.

        I have done VANOS work on the Z4M twice, and never had to reset adaptions, but we have different ECU's

          But aren't the adaptation values just stored from the last time the car was driven?

          I think only the actual vanos test should be done on a warm engine. The adaptation values can be retrieved at any point in time.
