I have an aluminum bumper support available in the LA area if anyone needs it for this, just taking up space so I’ll pass it on for cheap. lmk.

Just to make it clear, with the aluminum rebar version, you actually only need the shock mounts supports, no need for the aluminum reinforcement beam as it's already made in CF into the bumper. So it makes a huge weight saving on 2001-2002 M3

I’m not an engineer or materials expert at all so pls don’t judge too hard. But is there a difference in strength between the aluminum and CF bars?

my guess is aluminum is stiffer seing how beefy/heavy it is. But I won't crash 2 cars to verify haha

CF isn't going to win any prizes for impact resistance

I picked up a set from their recent 103 units run: front, trunk, diffuser. It's coming together on my EAG car at EAG.
