Need Help Determining Root Cause of Temperature Needle in Red - SOLVED

Update. Reassembled the cooling system and got the engine up to operating temperature while sitting. The temperature gauge needle climbed to 12 o'clock and stayed put. I haven't driven the car, but everything appears to be functioning normally.

Coolant temps look fine. monitor them when you drive too. Looks good.

I would test it at idle with the A/C on to make sure it doesn't creep up.

I’m glad this is solved. Although you replaced some parts 11 years ago, I would consider doing another refresh in a few more thousand miles.

Good find with the cluster reset.
