Finally all sorted and fitted, cranks first time every time again I even reused the old hose because I couldn't figure out how to release it without risking something breaking.

So looking at my 3yo Hella pump are these burn marks on the sender? If so what would cause this?

Just wanted to add to the discussion, ive been running the radium sleeve for about 8 years without an issue and and replaced the walbro pump twice during this time, not because it failed but just as a preventative maintenance - always bought the pump directly from radium, i never had the issue of having to crank it more than once, it always started immediately - my only issue is that the level sensor tends to die and need replacing, to fix this, i bought a new hella pump with the intent of swapping out the radium sleeve when the pump dies.

Also, i dont know what it is about the hella pump but it does seem to run slightly more responsive over the walbro one. Time will tell how long this hella PRC made pump holds (had to look up what PRC meant, guess they dont want to stamp it with “China”)
