Electric Fan Conversion - Spal's 30102803HO most powerful sealed fan

That fan does have more CFM's than the 2082 but the motor isn't sealed. Also 26 amps vs 24 amps with the 2082.

WOLFN8TR Hows the setup running after all this time? Driving the M3 in the peak summer temps?

Still running great! Very impressed with the Spal 2082 and the Auto Cool Guy PWM combo. I daily drove my M3 for 5 years to work and the summers out here in Vegas get up to120 degrees. There were only two times when I was sitting in traffic on a 122 degree day I turned off the AC as the temps were climbing just to safe. And my SMG is still working good as well even in the high heat.

Spal 2021, 2049, 2082.

At static pressure mmH2O = CFM (which is what you look for in a fan because the total output is always at measured at 0 which is not really relevant in this case because this being installed in car radiator is pretty much always subjected to static pressure unless you have the car parked and not moving at all.

The higher mmH20 and CFM the better.

2049: 389 cfm at 20.6 amps
2021: 702 cfm at 19.5 amps
2082: 991 cfm at 24 amps

2049: 0 cfm’s at 17.7 amps
2021: 378 cfm’s at 19.5 amps
