Obviously I have this brake set up, and came up with this solution. I now run textar pads with shims, no noise. The key I believe is making sure you have good contact/seal between the shims and the pad. I respray mine with 3M super 77 adhesive and make sure the shims and pads are completely clean (acetone).
Wait what did you do differently from your original post? Says you tried all those methods initially. FWIW my piston shims were brand new and carefully installed.
Also, what rotors are you and maupineda using. ZCP drilled?
