OE Manufacturer for Strut Mounts?

Anyone know who the original manufacturer is for our front strut mounts? I thought it might be Corteco but not sure. It seems Corteco is no longer selling this. So it might be exclusive for Geniine BMW Parts now.
So if this is true does anyone have another good option to use besides BMW for this part? Planning a refresh and not going to use HT (Hamburg Technic) as they have been junk parts in the past. Thanks

There used to be a great thread on the old forum listing original manufacturers. I believe for the strut mounts it was Lemforder.

Thanks, did a search before but couldn’t find an official list here. Another forum has one but it’s mixed between Lemforder and Corteco at that part. I’ve looked at some recent photos of BMW Parts and it’s hard to say definitely but might see a Lemforder triangle logo on the underside on rubber.
Either way neither Lemforder nor Corteco currently sell this under their product line.
So will ask the forum again. What are people using as for refreshers? Are people just replacing the bearing and fine? Using the Hamburg Technic (HT) brand or just sticking with Genuine BMW Parts for this?

Suspension refresh has been a “future me” problem for after rod bearings and manual conversion.

That said, I have priced out a suspension refresh a few times over the last couple years. I have been eyeing either Genuine BMW strut mounts or Turner street camber plates. I won't use the old mounts as the rubber has aged and they are past their reusable life. I have not seen any acceptable alternative for OE-style strut mounts. Corteco product pages are all over the place but no stock in sight.

I would absolutely not buy anything from “Hamburg Technic”, they are not a known aftermarket company here in Europe at all, actually their parts seem to be only available in the US, which is very strange, especially if you manufacture/sell parts for German cars…

If you dive further into it, their only connection to Germany is their shell company on a PO box address in Wiesbaden, which isn’t even close to Hamburg at all. I am pretty certain these are Chinese parts with a German name

I would probably get some camber plates or just keep your stock ones, I don’t think these generally see much wear, they are pretty stout.

Based on the little triangular logo on the rubber portion, it looks to be made my Lemforder. The black and yellow radial bearing is made by INA.

Another question for the forum. Are many of you just replacing the bearing unit and keeping stock top with good results? The factory bonded rubber to strut mount is a good isolator. As we know sloppy rubber means suspension moves and doesn’t allow suspension to work or respond quickly. The rubber in mine isn’t cracked, are people just replacing the “bearing” and happy? For those who aren’t familiar here is the bearing of the strut mount referred to.

There was a thread on E46 Fanatics where Terra said that the engine mounts came as Lemforder in Corteco boxes. I'm sure the same thing happens the other way around. One manufacturer actually makes the part and supplies the same thing to another manufacturer. The RSMs are Lemforder, so IDK why the fronts would not be made by them as well. They make basically every suspension component for the chassis. If they stopped supplying it, there might be a stock issue, and BMW gets preference.
