Oil pump replacement/ rebuild consensus

    how did you do number 1 ?
    In the end, I'm pretty sure did what you did. Was a little scared of scratching the crank, moving the crank freely of the piston, but I was careful.

      100% was turning it clockwise, i made error in my last post

      I follwed TIS and wire tied the chain
      I watched a video tutorial as well, to triple check i was turning it the right way and it looked like, if i continued, i was going to break the lower timing chain guide
