I don't track my car, but I like the Hotchkis bars for our cars.

They're hollow, so you lose some weight too.

I don't think there's a huge difference in swaybars, really any should be fine. You'll need to figure out what you want out of the car.

Usually, swaybars are used to dial in or out understeer.

On my fulltime track car I am running this Hotchkis setup with SPL links.

          Old, not obsolete.

Ground control front which is infinitely adjustable. I'll never allow any hotchkis products on my cars again after having their front swaybar rip two Mounts out of my ZHP. I finally realized their bushings were clamping down on the bar too much and not allowing it to move freely enough even though it was greased. Glad other love them but I hate them

              That wasn't Hotchkis's fault.

It's a known issue on this chassis.

Heavy duty E46 front sway bar reinforcement kit from MSW.  The front sway bar (anti-roll bar) mounts on the E46 chassis are an often overlooked weak point.  Don't let yours fail by not reinforcing them.

Question, how do you feel about the SPL links vs BimmerWorld? They look to be the same materials and really similar design but the cost is not aligned.

SPL links appear to be more robust compared to BW.

Side note: If you're running beefy front sway bars, please do yourself a favor an reinforce the mounting points. You might as well reinforce the entire front subframe while you're at it.

                        Just do the reinforcement.

I did do the reinforcement, I also don't use the bar as much in the M3 like I do in the ZHP, I let the coilovers do more of the work

No experience with the BW product, lots of experience with SPL products, hence my decision to go with SPL.

What are you trying to accomplish with the car by asking what size bar people recommend.... Just because you are refreshing all suspension components doesn't mean you need a new bar in there .

Are you staying with out of the box Ohlins R&T spring rates?
