WTF happened to FCPEuro customer service?

Didn't realize this thread would gain the traction it did haha. I should add I have also been a customer of probably close to 10 years or more and I was definitely frustrated in the moment however they still have just about all of my business. They did take care of me as stated back in May but for those who care they shipped out a genuine pump and gave me a cash refund for the shitty Geba pump even though it was out of the 30 day period or whatever it was. The genuine pump was higher quality by a mile also, recommend nobody mess around with the cheap aftermarket pumps for your sanity sake.Originally posted by evanr614 View PostI think maybe I had bad luck with the first individual I spoke with. Took some escalating past the customer service manager but they reached out to me and are making it right. They also removed the GEBA pumps from the catalog for now

Put in an order yesterday with free shipping, and everything went out today. Mostly coming from AZ and arriving tomorrow, with a couple fasteners coming from CT and expected Monday.
Dunno if this is luck of the draw or improvements on their end, but that's about as good as I could expect with free shipping. Definitely the quickest I've seen from them over the last 12 months. If they're running ads on the Olympics maybe they have everyone working overtime to not drop the ball with new customers.'04 LSB Coupe 6MT

To add a couple more data points. Made a big order with FCP. They were able to deliver quickly and before the estimated time like the old days. Mostly out of the AZ warehouse. Nice to see.
Meanwhile I ordered some rod bearings from Turner due to the great price on ACL's. They shipped them in...get this, a BAG. Couldn't believe it. The product box was beat up pretty bad and I won't be using them. So for a replacement they refused to honor any faster shipping methods complimentary, where I'm pretty dang sure FCP would have it out 1day if it was their negligence.🔹 2001 M3 Laguna Seca Blue

I've actually had a nightmare situation that FCP did extremely right by me. Although an old thread, worth sharing.
Ordered a head gasket (#1) after torquing it down realized that I made a mistake and had to take the head back off. Then starts the fun.
Head gasket number 2 arrived bent and damaged in shipping. FCP was cool about it and sent a replacement
Head gasket 3 somehow was damaged AGAIN because of how it was packed it was severely warped in its package. Probably would have been good to use but tbh I wasn't risking it.
FCP customer service went above and beyond, offered to cover the purchase price of a head gasket from competitor or local dealer. ECS is local to me and had one in stock. SOMEHOW THIS WAS DAMGED TOO head gasket #4. (Not FCP's problem but it was the last one in stock at ECS and I was out of luck)
Head gasket number 5 was the winner. FCP sent another one out with next day shipping. They refunded my head gasket #2 cost, and then added the cost I would have gotten on my life time replacement claim back to my account.
The biggest thing for me was that I didn't need to fight for any of this solution. When I called them back after head gasket #4, this was pure customer service. They offered every part of the solution including next day shipping. Went truly above and beyond to make these issues right. Hopefully for them, they figured out their packaging issues though
