What is OE E46 M3 stock ride height from factory?

      Is the above ISTA measurement guide, the minimum droop before replacement needed???, Factory heights are roughly 630 mm on all 4 corners IIRC on a 19inch rim, or roughly up around the 370mm Hub to guard. Hopefully some more members can measure their stock heights for us and post in so we have a future guide. Mine is sitting at 600mm / 580mm on the 19inch 🤔 Style 67 19inch rim face is 525mm, Using the ISTA guide Front will be 356.5mm ( 619mm - 262.5mm) Rear would be 337.5mm ( 600mm - 262.5mm) or 14.05 In Front and 13.28 In rear

        Depending on lip design. A 18” wheel is not 18 inches from lip to lip. It’ll be a bit more usually. Therefore the stock specs from fender to lip only applies to stock wheels.

        Measuring to centercap is kinda nice eliminating that variable

          Measure wheel from lip to lip. Divide by 2. Measure from bottom lip to fender. Subtract the previous amount.

              Why are you dividing by 2? Granted I seem to be the only one confused or correcting here so maybe I’m misunderstanding you.
              You measure from the bottom lip of stock 18”/19” wheel to where it first meets the fender wheel arch. This is in TIS and Bentley Manual. The specs given are while the gas tank Full and 150lbs each front seat,150lbs center rear seat, 46lbs trunk.

                  Well I'm thinking take the actual wheel height and divide it by 2 so you have the actual rim length cut in half which is center of the wheel. So when you measure from bottom lip to fender and subtract that amount it's the same as subtracting the bottom half of the rim to the center of the wheel where you're actually measuring height from.

                  Isn't that what the TIS saying?

                  Oh wow didn't know about the weight portion.

                      Thanks all. Surprising result. Had my car raised slightly during last alignment. Now only down .65 inch in front, .1 rear on Comp wheels.

                          I think the answer is if using OEM wheels. TIS is good. Otherwise you'll have to formulate it by figuring out the diameter of the wheels. That's what I was originally alluding to.

                            Yep, I do it this way so I can ignore diameter:

                            Measure from the center of the wheel to the center of the fender opening.

                                Ahhh, true. I run a piece of blue painters tape across the mid line of the wheel so I can at least be consistent.
