The description says:
"filled weight is a stunning 11# lighter than our 56mm radiator"
So they are referencing the weight loss to another one of their radiators, not the stock one. If you end up buying it, please measure the difference filled and unfilled.😃
But it seems it's out of stock and $1k for a radiator is definitely not cheap. I never really bothered looking for other radiators, most aftermarket units are larger and hence heavier. Since water temp is not an issue with our cars, I don't feel the need for more cooling. All it will do is make the thermostat open and close more often. Oil cooler is another topic 😉

Oh you are right, did not read/understand that sentence properly…
I might just buy a new OEM rad than!

Looking to see if anyone has been running a C&R oil cooler.
For context, I am not experiencing cooling issues. I’m looking to replace my OE cooler that has debris, bent fins and high mileage. My oil temps don’t exceed 250 on track.
Bimmerworld claims it is more efficient than other coolers. I’m not looking for a csf
One other thing I am considering for weight savings is titanium wheel bolts 🤔

I have them on my car - been on there for six years (tracked several times a year), with no issues and they still look like new, However, I clean the threads on both the studs and nuts every time the wheels come off and only EVER use manual tools on them.
Total of 1kg of unsprung weight removed from the car.

It was wet that day and first time tracking since all the weight reduction, so I wasn't pushing at all. It's a high speed track, so I get passed by all the FI cars running 700+bhp 😕
Btw, the sound level is not nearly captured on video. I reality the car is really loud inside.

It takes some getting used to. You'll be like, what was that noise? And that noise? And that other noise? Then you'll just become immune to that stuff. I finally installed a BW race exhaust and that took care of all the rattling and buzzing.
It does make things harder to diagnose that start as a noise - like a suspension clunk. You have to use your sense of touch and feel AND be more diligent about pre and post event tech inspections.

I wouldn't mind the bimmerworld race with that functional diffuser, unfortunately it's way too loud for road legal here in Germany...
I can still hear a clunk very well... unfortunately. Probably CV axles. Drivrshaft is very new, diff only around 3k km on it.
By the way, I went to the histocup race this weekend. Met my suspension guy. He mentioned we may have do redo the setup on my car, they had to send in the front wheel scales for rebuilding. They measured lighter than reality on another car they did later, figures that result was too good to be true. I'll post an update when I get it remeasured.
