Is Ronald even taking orders for his SSK? I haven't received a response via e-mail or text.

Just got mine last week. I think it was a 12 week wait. He's off from now until the new year.

I placed an order when I first got my car back in May and received my SSK a few weeks ago. Ronald was awesome, I think he's just slower and takes it customer by customer. Be patient he'll get back to you and it's worth the wait, the kit is stellar and high quality

I ordered my kit in September and received it earlier this week. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.

He's also been at it for > 20 years and I'm pretty sure he wasn't a spring chicken back then either. I imagine he'd rather do things at his own pace rather than have an endless stream of orders

Has anyone had any experience with the newest rendition of the Rogue octane shifter and compared it with an AS SSK? I'm trying to decide between the two, but I think with the different variations of an AS SSK, it may be comparing apples to oranges.

Just refresh the stock bushings for now and order an AS SSK

I'm coming from an RTD shifter which I've grown to hate so I'm trying to decide if I should go with a SSK or just go to a stock setup with fresh bushings.

I will also be swapping out my RTD mini shifter to an AutoSolutions shifter in the next couple of weeks, so will report back once installed to give you my thoughts in terms of how they compare. Really wanted the factory look back hence the swap.

Got the M3 back from annual service with the new Autosolutions shifter installed (Autocross 25% reduction, OE height), and have had a couple of days to compare to the RTD Mini I previously ran for circa 15,000km 20,000km over 7-8 years.

                              The summary:
                              • Back to factory look ✅ - that was a big one for me even though I did run a ZHP knob on the RTD. The extra height just looked out of place in a stock interior.
                              • Shifts require less effort ✅ - The ease of the 3/2 shifts and effort required when the gearbox is cold are positive changes. In saying that, the self-centering torsion spring in the RTD will be missed.
                              • Quieter shifts ✅.
The RTD Mini was no doubt sharper/crisper than the Autosolutions shifter, but that is to be expected with a chassis mounted shifter with shorter throws between each gear. I ran OE engine and gearbox mounts with the RTD, and never had gear selection issues even when pressing on over country backroads. Slight caveat - the M3 is exclusively used on the road so doesn't see the lateral load like a track car which require firmer/solid mounts.

I also installed the Autosolutions autocross 30%. I had a chassis mount for the past 18 months.

I’m pleased with everything, but the biggest improvement is throwing the polly mounts in the trash and going to OEM engine and Rogue trans mounts. Car is so much smoother and livable.
