    Euro headers?

Okay so I took a brief hiatus from modding mine and just went to look for some euro headers and not on ecs, fcp, or anywhere. Did I miss something??

These were available for purchase 1-2years ago.

Yeah… you’re in for a surprise. Some parts are suddenly starting to go NLA. I found mine on marketplace there’s usually some floating around

Megan headers are the way. Cheaper and...at least the version I got...fit. Haven't heard any issues with fitment.

I was going to get a set of these headers. For section 1 what do you recommend? I dont want to go full catless

It bolts up to the stock section 1. Beyond that…I’m not the right guy to answer that.

Unfortunately without the readily available/cheap euro section 1 anymore you have less options.
Either buy some decent cats and having them welded to your section 1 or taking a chance with some junk brands like stattus gruppe etc.

Supersprint makes this, good stuff but kind of defeats the purpose of keeping it somewhat cheap.

It's too bad euro headers/cats are harder to get and expensive now, that setup with some mild aftermarket muffler and you have a really nice sounding M3 in my opinion.

Why not just cut the cats out of the US headers and have a decent welder put them into your us section 1?

Wish I knew/realized euro cats still available a couple months ago. Smh.

This definitely crossed my mind as an option. Just dont want to hack up my car but it is a valid option

No way that comes with cats.

Edit: found this euro section 1 on FCP for $1000, apparently ships in 3 days, if true not bad.

That is the stock section 1 part number.

                      Euro is 18307836508.

Euro used header usually goes for sale 1,2-1,800

Ah, that seemed a bit off, in stock and relatively cheap.

It will require quite a bit of fabricating. Probably can reuse the actual cat but you're going to have to redo the openings. Also, the diameter is quite large, probably going to require the exhaust to be really low.

The diameter is probably too large to fit both side by side.

A good used option would be to find stock E9X M3 midpipes and cut/weld the secondaries to the E46 M3 section 1.

Or spend a little more and get two new HJS 200 cells to weld into the factory section 1.
