Look at the O2 sensors post cat: the signals switching just like precat sensors which means the exhaust gas wasn't treated properly. They should be above 0.5v most of the time. This should cause CAT readyness fail.
There are tunes all over that allow the cats to go ready from a smog test test perspective even if they aren't working or if they are deleted.

OK so the tune ignores the cats and tells the monitor that they are ready.

o2 heater is not working and I think it's the reason why the O2 took more than 6 minutes for the DME to close the control loop as I mentioned before.
But you had measured the heater voltage on the wires and I remember there was 12v across the heater 2 wires. Can you double check the voltage on the two wires again with cold engine running?

Evap takes many driving cycles to set, but the smog station will waive this.

Not sure exactly but In know I have had catless s54 cars that passed smog. I can send you the tune files if you're interested in digging deeper.

Thanks, I had done coding bypassing cats before.

Under the weather the past couple of days but back at it. Will check the voltage tonight.

Also while at idle, my volts are only 11.5 (with lights on).
When driving abd going 80mph, voltage is at 13.5 (lights on) and 13.6 (lights off). Is that normal abd would that affect o2 sensor heater?

Where did you measured the voltage?

I was reading from INPA hooked into the OBD2 port.

It's normal for volt reading from obd lower than directly measured voltage at batt.

Agreed but 11.5 seems like a larger delta than i would expect at idle.

Measure voltage at battery during idle using a multimeter to confirm if alt is healthy or not.

                          Hey Fellas,

Sooooo after this long journey, I took out my ecu and drove it down to someone in NYC.

"I don't know what happened, but I magically got it back 4 days llateral everything says ready after installing"

I will be deleting the cache on my phone and will be throwing it in a lake.

                          😳

Ready even without driving the car?
Same Dme but with new firmware? Did they repair or only coding?

                            Great news!

Yup, didn't drive one mile. Popped it in, started it up, everything was ready. Took him 2 days... (all of this is allegedly, lol). Same DME... he tried to overlay the changes with the current tine, but it wasnt taking. So he flashed to a stock tune, adj for my cams, and coded that one.

now I just have 2 more nagging issues... the upgraded injectors (made a post) and I get a tranny cog light when the car idles for like 15 min. It still drives fine, but it's weird. Every once in a while, ill get a "double blip" when downshifting.

                              Thoughts?

The master knew exactly the memory locations to set all of these flags ready, and somehow bypass the power interruption which normally would clear all emission monitoring readyness. I wonder the next smog time in 2 years how the car will behave.

On the SMG light, the cog light popped up in neutral and idling? Read smg error to see what in there, and while in neutral check how long the pump stays off and running time. This will tell the condition of the pump and how bad the internal leak is.
