OEM CSL Trunk Availability?

    OEM CSL Trunk Availability?

    I was wondering if anybody has purchased an OEM CSL trunk from Schmiedmann recently and received their order? It says out of stock but also the message of being back in stock in expected 45 days. I've purchased out of stock items from them before with the same message and received the item but was wondering if anybody has recently purchased a trunk through them recently.

    Got mine from them mid - late last yr, was quick but it was in stock at the time of ordering.

        139 units available at BMW, so should be fine to order.

            I assume BMW is shipping evreyone trunks in late april.Turners expected ship date is April 22nd so I feel like all vendors are getting shipments at the same time.

            I just placed my order for one from schmiedmann yesterday.

              Good to know. Thanks. I'll be placing my order soon then. Just purchased a Miles End bumper and diffuser yesterday so need to find room for the trunk now. Ha.

                Yeah I have been eyeballing one for a while and finally pulled the trigger. The expected ship date has been late april for quite some time now (alteast for Turner) so hopefully they do ship around then.

                        I opted for the full kit with carpet from turner. Schmiedmann has the carpet for only $98 but the catch is it added $200 to the shipping.

                          So I've got an OE CSL trunk on order as well as all the neccessary bits, or so I think. Is there any go to DIY you guys can link me to? Also, will the trunk handle simply swap over? I have yet to see a new/different trunk handle mentioned on any of the CSL trunk parts lists that I have come across thus far. My car was

                            ECS and Turner have the CSL the trunk lid trim for $136.99 at the moment. Mine shipped yesterday. When I ordered it, it was $188.99 but they were able to do a price adjustment.
