      I had no plans to add a CSL trunk to my car, but I have this feeling they will go NLA and I will kick myself for not getting one. LOL

        Exactly what I was thinking. Also the PO of my car added a turner lip spoiler to the trunk and installed it "Too Well". So this was the expensive fix.

          I have bought and sold CSL trunks in the past thinking I’d paint and install… have never gone through with the work. Now I have two BNIB CSL trunks sitting in my garage… again.

            If I had two new CSL trunks and legitimately had the space to store an extra one I would keep it as I always worry about what would happen if mine was destroyed. Also, I am a hardcore parts hoader to the extent I can be.

            The more practical part of me says paint/install one, sell the other and make some $.

            In any event, I imagine that post created a few new PM's in your inbox!

              In some weird, twisted way… I’m considering keeping the second in box for posterity and finally painting a trunk and diffuser (only have one at the moment).

                    @Rekpoint

                    Is the last picture a manufacture date? Anyone know why it reads 10/2004?

                      There’s a titanium silver CSL trunk for sale locally in LA… in case anyone is looking.

                        Last I checked there is 78 or 79 available. However, I think we are limited to ordering from third parties (ECS, FCP, etc.). BMW is strict on ordering euro parts. Tried to order some euro E36 radiator covers for my buddy and BMW blocked the order. From what the parts manager told me, apparently euro parts may require proof of ownership or import paperwork.
