Will you get an additional tariff bill when ordering from getbmwparts.com?

Good question, I think unlikely. Nothing was conveyed to me after the purchase. I think it’s baked into the price as they will be shipping the item from the US to me.

Did you get confirmation they will ship it to the US?

WTF did they cancel my order and say they couldn’t ship to me then… I don’t get it.
I ended up getting the Karbonius on the Black Friday sale for a great price. But I wanted the OE trunk.

Odd, how long after your order did you get a notification?

It was within the week. I hadn’t gotten shipping confirmation so I emailed in and they replied that it couldn’t be sent.

When I start drinking I start thinking. My genius idea was to buy one.
Have an order in for $2,728.42 shipped to my door. I think that's a pretty good price given current part pricing, and tariffs.
I will follow back up in 4 to 6 weeks when and if it arrives.
3 weeks later my purchase showed up to my house. It got state side last week and delivery was set for today. They gave me a window 12 to 4 for delivery. I called to tell them I need an hour heads up so I can make it home. That never happened. Good thing my neighbor was home to sign for it... Most importantly. $0.00 tariffs due on delivery
Photos for anyone curious. Now I need to find a paint shop.. :/

Dang it, now I'm sucked into this. What's the consensus on running a CSL trunk, but not a CSL front bumper cover? My initial thought is to not do that, but I'm curious what others think.

For me the bumper cover plays no role in a decision on the deck lid. Besides, maybe later you do the bumper. Sometimes you can’t have everything all at once.

Many people have done a bootlid and diffuser without the front bumper. Stock bumper is nice as it is easily replaceable or repairable if it gets damaged.

BMW states that the "two individually replaceable flaps made of CFRP reduce lift at the front of the car by more than 50 percent compared with a standard M3." IDK how much you will notice that at road speeds. Maybe more noticeable at higher speeds on track.

I am going to run the stock bumper. Also going to run an MK Trackparts front lip.

Well I definitely wish I would have known of a non-tariff way to order mine 6 months ago. Could have saved myself $800. Congrats on the pick-up.

Not a big deal, and I may be mis-remembering, but when I got my CSL trunk in 2020 I seem to remember it was more of dark primer gray, that looks much more black.
