Just wanted to follow up on this thread - how are people handling tariffs?

Got hit with tariffs on euro headers and section 1 from the Netherlands. Tariffs are affecting used parts that were manufactured 20+ years ago in Europe. Damn lol. It's pretty lame.

I bought a rebuilt SMG actuator from MLR in Canada. MLR did me a favor by entering the value as $150 CAD on the customs form (actual price is $380 USD), I was still charged $74 USD in tariffs on delivery.

I signed up for the Vince Bar group buy, but Vince has halted shipments to the US because some of the earliest shipments were hit with 50% tariffs.

Not surprised to see companies spelling out the tariff impact on customer invoices and receipts. Needs to be obvious who often bears the brunt of tariffs. Trump made it known back in February that Americans could feel some pain from tariffs.

A buddy just got hit with $306.43 on his VB group buy (he was billed $559 by Vince).

I've got an order coming from Schmeidmann and I'm not looking forward to that one.

And then also a set of CF doors and hatch that I'm probably gonna let sit and rot for awhile over there hoping the tariffs come down.

Listening to a podcast today and Derek tam Scott got hit with a $64k tarif that he wasn’t expecting due to laws changing so rapidly. Importing a car.

$191.63 to ups upon delivery for CSL headers acquired via ebay uk back in July. Payable to UPS via cash or check only. I paid £985 for the headers, roughly $1300 usd

I’ve been holding off placing an order from Schmied, any idea how you avoided tariffs? Is Denmark not on the tariff list?

Not sure, but more info, I placed a separate order for just over $1200 and they promptly canceled it, though the parts did have a very long lead time per their website.

They didn't give a reason for the cancelation and I didn't ask.
