    Exhaust Temp Sensor Connector

Hi, I could not find anything on this so I am creating this topic so it can be found searching online.

while working on my car I ripped the EGT sensor and on top of it I manage to break the engine side connector, it was too old and it crumbled on me.

so I searched for the connector part number for the EGT sensor but did not find it, however while searching RealOEM I found that the speed wheel sensor was very similar so I went ahead and bought it.

    part number is:

and it indeed is the perfect replacement!

I'm so glad you found a replacement! I had the exactly same experience with my harness-side EGT connector completely crumbling on me, and have been scouring the web for a replacement with no luck until I saw this.

I can't quite tell from the photos, but does the replacement connector come with contacts/pins in it, or did you have to de-pin the old one and plug that into the new one?

    Thanks!

You have to depin the original, but is super easy, on the photos you see the small access door, flip it up and use a pic to press the small tabs that hold the terminals and they slide out.
