I'm about a year in with my HTE alpha n tune on Karb box with rebuilt injectors, fresh coils &plugs, etc. I planned this as a stop gap until I could procure an HP DME and go the map route but the tune and driveability is so good I have not felt the need. It works in any weather, never stumbles and pulls hard. Sure map may be better but for the few thousand miles a year I enjoy the car there's no need.
I think my complete interaction with Hassan lasted about 25 min from the time I paid and sent my flash file until it was returned and loaded.

For the price of a tune it’s well worth it regardless of mods IMO.

Agreed with Ian. Hassan is very communicative on WhatsApp.
Been running an HTE tune since July 2020. My E46 M3 has been tracked, taken on road trips, and sent to redline more times than I can remember. Oil analysis is done with every annual change, too. No issues to date, and the motor still feels great. I also asked about knock sensors, etc., like Ian did, to ensure the reliability of the motor wasn't being compromised.
