I’m running the Megan headers. The fitment is great. They felt quality. I have them flow coated inside and ceramic coated outside. In my opinion they’re hard to beat for the price.

How is the power with the Bomiz high flow cats compared to catless?. I would assume that the smell of unburnt fuel will be reduced but not eliminated with that price. But from 1 to 10 how bad is the smell with those cats. Also I am not really familiar with flow coat. What’s the purpose behind it and the benefits ? And how much did it cost you

With the windows rolled up yesterday it was a 1.

I’m not exactly sure which differences you’re implying. If it’s sound, then yes the headers are louder. If it’s performance, I’d also say yes it’s a big upgrade. Partially because you need to tune the car which makes a big difference.

do you recommend Megan racing headers ? And when did you buy them.

They were on my car when I bought it. I’ve had them off and they went back on great. I’ve been happy with them. For the price point they’re worth it

Yea, after seeing that second photo I would ask them for a shot that shows the cat material, looks like the flanges are beat up as well. If the cats are good I would run it, just clean it up well and make sure the sealing surface is smooth.


Edit: I was seeing the remaining gasket as the sec. 1 itself, they should have taken those off, not to mention the RTV doesn’t help.

yeah If I get ANY section 1 i'll be having it ceramic coated any way since they'll have to cut the flanges off on one side and flair the pipes to fit the V1s

Check my prior post on this thread. I welded in a set of GESI cats to the 2.5" RE equal length section and mated to the Supersprint Stepped V1 Headers.
