      It does seem like false economy unless track 9nly and guaranteed continuous airflow.

      The DO88 is supposed to much better.

        You looked down the tank with a hot engine running? Don't run the hot engine (or more than 10 minutes from cold engine) with tank cap opened, as the low P will cause the head to boil coolant around the EX valve seats, then created air pockets in the head and can lead to cracked head.

          160K miles, it never leaked just wanted a refresh to prevent future issues, I just drove 1200 miles round trip up north with oem radiator and no cooling issues or loss of coolant! I suggest oem in your case if you want to keep oem hose set up!

            On this...had to bleed the coolant system in my daughter's 325 wagon. Totally fubar'd it...had to turn to youtube. Forgot how much of a pain in the ass it is on the non-Ms.
