*Solved* RPM dip then car dies ONLY when AC on after airbox tune

Do we know if Martyn's tool takes care of this? I saw nextelbuddy asked about 5 years ago in a thread, but I didn't see a followup.

*SOLVED*

So turns out, the fault was with the manual swap coding and the fix was finding a thread by nextelbuddy . I wrongfully attributed the airbox/tune to this as I did the manual swap right around the same time. Also big shoutout to ugaexploder for showing how to get rid of $793, which was also present. Interestingly enough after getting rid of $793 it was stalling even with the AC off, which really drove me to find a solution. I also noticed this was mentioned in the Comprehensive Manual Swap DIY for US cars:

“US cars: Set K_MD_MIN_VERH_KRAFTS to 0xA0. It is located at 0x67E0 on 2801 (MSS54). It is located at 0x88A2 on 2701 (MSS54HP). Default value is 0x80 on US cars (Euro cars are already at 0xA0).”

0x67E0 was 80 instead of A0…no more stalling, we’re back in business boys

It boggles my mind that that bug has still not been fixed in ECUworx lol

It seems like a pretty important defect. I've reported it. It's on the forum. People are affected by it but it just hasn't been fixed yet.
