Of course they are optimistic. Remember, to sell products, they need to show numbers outside of just pretty CF to look at. They strap the test car to a dyno, point 50 cyclone-generating fans right into the intake opening and say, here is what you can expect daily driving - 10-20hp difference, PROVEN.

Oh yeah yeah totally agree. I'm not saying I'm surprised they are optomistic numbers. Just that one needs to factor that in between companies who it being more honest.

Well first I wouldn't pay the list price for the GruppeM intake. I bought mine for much less on sale.

I agree, if you look long enough you will find a GruppeM intake being sold. I paid half the list price for mine.

The sound from the Eventuri is more likely from it being open air and not enclosed like the GruppeM. Both are CF. GruppeM also had a Kevlar material one, Charlie has that one on his M3, I have the CF one.

That is correct I still have my Kevlar GruppeM intake but that will eventually change when I get my OEM CSL airbox....



The engine cover requires replacement and will be done when I have other higher priority items taken care of... For not I like running with my GruppeM CAI... this is the only mod I have done performance wise and I have dyno'd at Brenn Tuning at 292whp. I have stock factory tune and am happy with the performance considering...
