Custon header heatshielding?

Hey Everyone,

Is there anyone the does customer header heatshielding? Ive attached a Pic for reference. I know header wraps come with some risks, but these seem to be the best of both worlds. Im already thermal coated, but want to bring this topic up.

Might not be aesthetically what you're going for, but in absence of a custom solution (I don't have an answer for you there), there are several solutions made by these guys:

No experience with them but it looks like they do custom heat shields.

I talked to HeaderShield at PRI and I really dig it. BUT it is very expensive and the concept seems "relatively" simple, but labor intensive. It does add some girth which might be a problem for my setup but otherwise it could be something to consider DIY'ing.

Are you going to wrap your coated headers? Kind of like...double bagging it? lol

I have swaintech coated megan headers. They did help to reduce coolant temps and general hotness under the hood by quite a bit. Not sure how much cooler it can get.

Double bagging for sure, 😆 🤣 😂.

I was thinking more to keep the temps in more, to flow out quicker (maybe a little hp gain). Figure with the Swainteck, custom heatshielding, and the heatshield plates on the car, that should get me maximum on both under hood and exiting exhaust gasses.
