Persistent spongy brake pedal feel - 996/Megane/DB9 calipers

    It’s just how it goes with MK20 cars. I have the same soft pedal feel with front megane rs calipers and rear 996. I’m using DS2500 pads, bled numerous times and even swapped the master cylinder. A friend with MK20 and exact same setup has the same brake feel.

    Some of this has to do with the soft bite of the DS2500 when cold, since bite improves a lot once on track.

    Inherently theres nothing “wrong” with the brakes, it’s simply a more linear “feel”. It’s actually helped me get a better feel for heel/toe on track.

    A proper brembo GT or APracing kit is probably how I’d do it again if I don’t leave it stock.

      That's my exact setup on my car. Not FCP free, but feels great so who cares.
