It's pretty subjective but IMHO it would be doing things differently or coming up with solutions/mods that fix/address issues that you have discovered.Originally posted by Arlen4369 View PostWhat would classify as a wild e46 build?

The original 3.5 stroker was done on an M3Forum member's car way back in the day.
His username was Beavis and I actually got to see it in person about 6 years ago in New Jersey. This was on an 06 Estoril ZCP 6MT as well. So actual Individual.
As far as builds are concerned, the craziest one I ever saw was Rob's Tiag, Rosso Corsa and his newest BRG.
Altran has a sick build too.
Ian and Ejaz have sick builds too.
Everyone else just does the normal IG influencer type stuff AKA E88's, AMX for seats, CF everywhere, etc.

Totally agree with this. His Rossa Corsa is when inspired me to do mine. Really such a well executed build.Originally posted by Sharocks View Post

Is jet_dogg still around? Haven't seen him here in a long while...Build thread: Topaz Blue to Shark Blue

My favorite builds on the forums since I joined in 2022:
robgill - glass out / engine out complete restomod. Incredible from start to finish. BRG is about to hit BAT any day now and I hope he gets a massive pay day for that project.
Avedis - Immaculate low mileage 2004 Silver Grey CSL Inspired Build - well documented and tastefully done. Love the focus on reconditioning - the respray turned out great, and the PDF he created for the interior removal was a 10/10.
Tbonem3 build journal - easily the most revisited build journal from a research perspective. Tyler's done a great job documenting his 15 year journey owning his car.
Casa de Mesa build journal - no stone unturned. Love the color choice for the respray. Highly informative
Honorable mention to Obioban - I had an IR / IR slicktop in 2008 and his build journal on m3forum was highly informative and aspirational.'02 ///M3 Alpine White / Cinnamon 6MT

Someday I'll post pics of mine when it's back together this summer. All the usual CSL stuff and a 3.4L.
Not much else ever surfaced about that car.Originally posted by Sharocks View Post

I genuinely do not see my build in the same airspace as these other guys. As I said, these are the dudes who wrote the instruction manual that I followed page-by-page. Especially Rob's, given we had similar goals.Originally posted by AWE46M3 View PostMy favorite builds on the forums since I joined in 2022:
