The longer supplied 4 bolts is to ensure all 6 bolts have the same factory thread depth. The adapter only load is to rotate the pump disk, and has zero load of rotating the cam. I don't see these bolts are in any potential damage more than the stock setup.
The 2 driving tabs are on a relative thick base and so it seems to be a good design, but I can't tell if the material is strong or not.
