Rough idle, gets better with ac ON

Ok, this is a new one for me. Ive been chasing an idle issue for a bit now and ive torn the intake apart and put it back together to make sure its all tight and no air leaks. Cleaned the ICV and checked the hoses/clamps. So now, it wont stall out as i come to a stop, but the idle drops to ~500 and then recovers. Annoying but better. I thought it could be the a/c compressor cycling so i tried it without the a/c on. To my surprise, with it off, the idle bounces up amd down and when i turn the a/c on, it smooths out. So im totally lost because its normally the other way around

    any ideas?

MAF, MAP or Alpha-N? Regardless I think it would be worth checking idle controller adaptions - there are separate adaptions for aircon on/off, would be interested to see what the values are.

I am running the HTE tune for a turner airbox. This popped up after swapping in some new parts, coil packs/thermostat/coolant flush. Prior to that, no issues at all. It also isnt throwing any codes, so i dont have much to go on
