How much cheaper is the streamline box than the karbonius one, that people are still willing to roll the dice?

I believe it was close in cost to the Turner one. But with how shady their business practices were I wouldn't give them the time of day.

It doesn’t come with a karbonius box so you’re still going to need one of those after you get your streamline

I have checked the Streamline stuff, now Haimus Racing, and it seems they have stood up and fixed the issues, also I respect the support they gave to those facing issues, unlike TMS which has been a cluster. Also, the new revised designs seem to actually be more robust than all other designs with their new joint designs. I would actually buy off them, and I am a Karb owner, which let me tell you is nice, but not as perfect as some belief, my locking pins for the unfiltered section broke and I had to come up with a solution of my own. So I would encourage people to speak from experience and not from what they read online as most if basically the bad, very few people actually post the positive.

That's where I am as well...their box could be tits up, but based on how much 'regulating' their bootlid required, the crappy way they handled customer service issues, and their general rudeness towards ppl (especially some of the old forum members)..I would never spend a dime of my money w/them.

interesting that 99% of posts about Karb are positive, including about their customer service in some cases well past the warranty expiration

I've installed two Karbonius airboxes, and didn't find any aspect of them to be worse than my OEM CSL Airbox.

My 2021 build Karbonius intake has a weird issue where the trumpets meet the aluminum rings. Not all of the trumpets sit flush against the ring, so there’s a small gap between the two. Anyone else notice this?

                        CF trumpets btw

My Haimus box just showed up. It's a true work of art. The aluminum bungs are fantastic as is the overall build quality - great join alignment and fitment. I was also impressed with how they dealt with their initial build issues. No regrets on my purchase. Another forum member just purchased the Karb and we intend to put them head to head. Let's see how it plays out...

The reason being that karb is unavailable for group buy at this time, strictly a business move.
