    Which csl airbox to buy?

    Hey guys

I'm thinking about blowing a part of the vacation budget on a csl intake this year. I'm thinking from karbonius composites or streamline.
Question is has anyone ordered from streamline recently? I have inquired from them and have been told all the past issues have been resolved. I like the oe look so turner is out. Streamline is significantly cheaper as well.
Also any benefit with the karbonius race style box?

Money not an issue — karbonius. If it’s too much watt fir the second batch of improved Turner boxes.

go with Karbonius. Arguably better than the OE CSL airbox.

Another vote for Karbonius. I personally went with the standard version and their carbon snorkel.

Well I've gone against the grain and ordered a Streamline Autosport airbox ~4 weeks ago.

I'll post a review thread when received

Good luck. I own one and wouldn’t buy one again. Looks good but I waited 4months for mine after being promised 2 month wait. Still no snorkel after 6 months. I know there’s delays but dang.

just be aware of the can of worms you're opening up going with the csl intake. extra hardware, DME upgrades, getting a tune... then having to figure out a gameplan for when inspection comes every year. i bought a car with the karbonius intake already installed and a year later, i'm still sorting out DME and tune issues.

                      Well, that's encouraging.

I spoke with Antony today; said my airbox is due for detailing next week then shipping. See if he is true to his word.

Maybe I should have just paid the extra and gone with Karbonius

I've been given the impression that the OE design is now outdated in the sense that Karbonius and other companies (TMS) have either improved upon or changed the design for better airflow. There doesn't seem to be any hard dyno data comparing, though, which is unfortunate. But I don't see the point in spending the insane amount of money on an OE box when the cheaper options are designed to make better power and look every bit as good (at least in Karb's case).

I don't think any of them make more power than stock, but I'd get Karbonius if buying today.

I would NOT buy streamline without... many, MANY positive reviews from people that have owned it for years. They've spewed out a ton of garbage and I have yet to see any long term positive experiences.
