That was the original plan. Using the lower rear hole, the seat bottom would hit the motor regardless of which front hole I choose.

Interesting, I am using sedan manual seat rails, looking closer at your photo do have have the power rails? They sit lower I do believe.

You could try the R-9220 mounts as well, they work and may give you more options. I would contact Brey Krause about that to be sure.

Did you try the upper hole in the front and lower in the rear? Lowers the seating position while slightly reclining the seat into a more comfortable position, in my opinion.

Surprisingly, even with only using the top holes there’s a noticeable recline. My only complaint is that it’s not as low as I thought it would be.

Finally got around to installing the passenger side. The BK mounts now come with 2holes (2 in the front and 2 in the rear). The bottom hole wasn’t an option, as it causes the bottom of the seat to hit the motor.

The top 2 holes are my only choice. Seat feels great otherwise - just wish it could be lower…barely feels lower than stock.

Wasn't sure whether or not to start a new thread or where to ask, but anyone in the LA area have a Nogaro(installed or not) willing to let me potentially do a sit test? Debating whether or not to go this route or some sort of Recaros

So if you had seats without the lumbar support I suppose it's something you could add later then and just drill a hole big enough for the tube and maybe a little grommet?

Yes… but carefully follow all fiberglass drilling best practices. You’d be sad if you splintered it! And, be careful to avoid doing it to any areas that would be loaded in a crash.

I will say, no small part of my enthusiasm for this seat is actually fitting in a car. 6'3-6'4 makes cars a PITA, especially with a helmet.

Cobra Nogaro paired with this steering wheel spacer have made a world of difference for me at 6'5.5". Headroom was never much of an issue (car is a slicktop), but there's tons of room now, even with helmet. It feels very 'rally car' being low down with steering wheel ~2" closer to chest. Also gives more room for knees

Interesting, my memory isn't the best but I swear with stock seats my view was just over the wheel seeing the very top of the hood. I have a perfect view of the cluster and don't seem to remember any issues with that running stock seats either.

Maybe I can see the hood, I'll pay attention next time I drive the car. Also cluster visibility may be impacted by the angle that I like to have my steering column at. Having my hands be comfortable is more important to me than seeing the gauges, since I'm shifting by sound anyway and never really look down on track (except to check temps).

Wait I don't think I can see the power bulge in my nogaro with brey krause mounts. I'm 6'2" and baaaaarely fit with a helmet on. My helmet kinda hits the window frame if I'm moving my head around. And the steering wheel blocks the view of the top of my tach and speedo (which bugs the shit out of me).
