The Brey Krause direct to floor (no slider) mounts will let you compress the carpet with your seat (for most bucket seats)— which is 6-7” lower than stock. Too low for most :P
(also can use them to mount the sway higher)

Agreed - I'm about 6'3" and with a direct-to-floor mount (Bimmerworld) and OMP WRC-R the seat is very low, almost too low. For comparison, OE setup with a Stilo ST5 helmet I am right up against the headliner (my car has a sunroof) and I do need to slouch a bit to accommodate curbs and such.

Yeah-- I'm 6'3.5" (6'4 in the morning, 6'3 in the evening) and used to have to recline the seat to fit with a helmet. If without a helmet, my head would touch the roof if I woke up and immediately got in the car.
Now that I'm no sunroof and bucket seat (Cobra Nogaro on OE sliders using Brey Krause slider mounts), I have ~1 fist between my head and the ceiling and ~2" between my helmet and the ceiling.

Good to know. I'm about this height. Maybe I'll just rock a less than ideal seating position for a bit
