DAP® Auto/Marine Sealant is 100% RTV silicone rubber providing a flexible, waterproof seal for automotive & marine repairs. Withstands temps from -40°F - 400°F.
Basically you want something that is UV resistant, water tight, and remains elastic.
Permetex Ultra Black Might work as well.
Could also use windshield sealant but that stuff is kinda nasty to work with.

I did a lot of research and came to this as the very best. I have 4.5 track seasons on mine with zero issues.

Doodling around test fitting my AJ Hartman panel tonight. I'm honestly not 100% satisfied with the fitment, am I expecting too much? What do y'all think?
Seeing SandeepM3's photos earlier in the thread made me think the curvature of the panel would better match the roof, specifically running front-to-back. Maybe that's a matter of using adhesive on install? Pushing up on that region with my hands doesn't give me much confidence that it's merely a matter of "sag".
This isn't a mod I "need" to do, but was spurred on by needing to deal with my dissolving headliner, and figured I'd save some weight in the process. Finding out the panel only saves 35 lbs as opposed to the 70 lbs advertised on AJ's site after pulling out the old cassette was also a bit disappointing. I suppose that's on me for not double checking, but c'mon, he's off by a factor of 2 here.

I have the AJ Hartman piece and yea the fitment is not that great. It’s a bit lower than the rest of the stock roof. The actual carbon is really nice but I feel like it should just be a little taller to be flush with the roof.
As far as losing weight, 35lbs from the top of the car is still pretty great. I think we all know if you really want the tough guy points you have to do the full roof anyway though.

I have the S2R piece and it’s about the same. For $250 it’s what I would expect.
The cost is in the mold and it goes up exponentially to get it perfect. No one is going to pay $750 for a sunroof delete. Even if it’s priced low, likely won’t sell enough to make any money. Not really worth it.
